2010:
I first came up with the idea of throwing a Oscar party back in 2010, it was the year I really started getting into cinematography and I wanted to get a group of people to join me to enjoy the Academy Awards as I never really enjoyed watching them by myself, mainly because I use to find watching them kinda boring. So I decided to throw a party where I would lay down a red carpet, play some games and give out cheesy awards, which I believe some of them where who had the best beard, best person who represented the Oscars the most etc.
2011: "We Are The Stars"
This was the year where I got really crafty and really into it. I turned my apartment into a whole award show. The red carpet turned into a show itself. Not only did my guest arrived walking down the red carpet but they got interviewed, a mini photo shoot and each of them received their very own Hall of Fame. I also included a cocktail with mini foods and drinks. The games became even bigger as made into a team challenge rather than every man for themselves.
